Amaka Anekue Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Amaka received her BA in Biological Basis of Behavior from UPENN in Philadelphia.  She’s currently following the Nutrition Education path and hopes to specialize in corporate wellness programs, children and family nutrition, and clinical nutrition.  ava2114[at]tc.columbia.edu

Lindsey Branca Currently enrolled in the Applied Physiology and Nutrition program at TC, Lindsey, originally from New York, NY, earned her undergraduate degree in graphic design from  Boston College and her MBA from Columbia.  She hopes to work in sports consulting. lab2178[at]tc.columbia.edu

Margaret Cromwell received her BA in History from Colgate University.  Originally from Boston, MA, argaret is currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program at TC and hopes to work with kids with physical and mental disabilities with a focus on their nutrition needs, in a school setting. mcc2196[at]tc.columbia.edu

Caryn Donohue grew up in New York, NY, and attended Lafayette College where she earned her BS in Psychology.  She’s currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program at TC and hopes to work in the fields of  prenatal and maternal nutrition, PR consulting, advertising, marketing, or nutrition writing. ced2162[at]tc.columbia.edu

Leisan Echols received her BS in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Clark Atlanta University.  She’s originally from Columbus, OH, and is currently enrolled in the Applied Physiology and Nutrition program here at TC.  She has a strong interest in sports nutrition, is a certified personal trainer, and volunteers at Harlem United in the evening where she works in their nutrition program.  lre2110[at]tc.columbia.edu

Ilana Heching, from New York, NY, Ilana is currently enrolled in the Nutrition and Public Health program here at TC.  She received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from Queens College, CUNY, in Flushing, NY, and hopes to work within the government to change laws and health policy.  iyh2102[at]tc.columbia.edu

Erin Hinga studied and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Exercise Health at University of California at Santa Barbara.  Originally from La Selva Beach, CA, she is currently enrolled in the Applied Physiology and Nutrition program here at T.C.  ekhinga[at]gmail.com

Greta Kollmann Originally from Eastchester, NY, Greta received a BA in Studio Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design and a Certificate in Art and Advertising Design from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Greta is interested in doing individual consulting and hopes to have her own private practice as an R.D.  She’s also interested in sustainability and how the environment impacts health.  She’s currently enrolled in the Applied Physiology and Nutrition program here at TC. greta.kollmann[at]gmail.com

Tracy Kunand attended the University of Southern California where she received her undergraduate degree in Communications.  She’s originally from Los Angeles, CA, and is currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program here at TC.  She intends to become a Registered Dietitian and hopes to work with schools to improve their nutrition programs. tracey.kunand[at]gmail.com

Ana Leibovici received her BS in Psychology and a concentration in Economics, from University of Toronto, Canada.  Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ana is enrolled in the Nutrition Education department.  She hopes to work with the food industry in nutrition marketing as well as in counseling.  ail2113[at]tc.columbia.edu

Amy Lin Currently enrolled in the Nutrition and Public Health program, Amy received her BS in Biological Sciences from Cornell University.  Originally from New York, NY, Amy hopes to work in school and community settings to promote health and nutrition awareness in high-need areas.  She also hopes to have her own counseling practice.  aml2223[at]tc.columbia.edu

Eugenia In Kio, Mac Comes to TC from Macao, China.  She previously attended UC Davis where she earned her BS in Clinical Nutrition.  She is currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program here at TC, and intends to become a Registered Deititian working in a community setting. ikm2104[at]tc.columbia.edu

Vasnessa Ione Machen received her BS in Zoology and BS in Conservation Biology with a concentration in Environmental Studies from University of Wisconsin, Madison.  Originally from Berkeley, CA, she is currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program at TC and is interested in working with farm to school programs and school gardens. vanessa.machen[at]tc.columbia.edu

Lauren Maddahi Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Lauren received her BA in European Studies from UCLA.  She is currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program at TC and has future interests in menu planning for school districts, K-12 food, cooking, and nutrition education, and private and family counseling.  She is also a certified chef. laurenmadd[at]gmail.com

Victoria Martinet received her BA in Neuroscience from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA.  Originally from Carlsbad, CA, she is currently enrolled in Applied Physiology and Nutrition, and hopes to enter the realms of nutrition and media, sports nutrition, brain metabolism, and mental fatigue.  She also loves to cook and try new foods. vmmartinet[at]gmail.com

Emelia Stiverson Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Emelia received her BA in Drama from the Catholic University of America.  She’s currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program here at TC and hopes to work in an educational setting, as well as with mass media, and the food industry. emy.stiverson[at]gmail.com

Stephanie Schultz comes to The Program in Nutrition from Brooklyn, NY.  She received her B.A. in Film Production from Brooklyn College and is currently enrolled in the Nutrition Education program and is interested in nutritional writing, teaching, and research.  stephanie[at]symbiont.net

Kira Tolla received her degree in biological science with a minor in horticulture from University of Georgia.  Originally from Berkeley, CA, Kira hopes to enter the realm of food policy, promoting sustainable food choices and agriculture along with advocating and educating about local food systems and alternatives to corporate food choices.  She has worked at farmers markets in the Bay area as a vendor and manager, selling store fruit, honey, meats, and managing markets.  She’s currently enrolled in the Nutrition and Public Health program.  kat2142[at]tc.columbia.edu

Alyssa Tucci is currently enrolled in the Applied Physiology and Nutrition program here at TC.  Originally from Long Branch, NJ, she received her BS in Biology and BA in Italian from Villanova University.  She’s interested in working with professional and college sports sports teams. ant2113[at]tc.columbia.edu
